Romney is an actor, director and yoga teacher with a passion for sharing her love of theatre with her students. Romney loves to help her students find grounding in their process through breathwork, connection to the self and deep listening.
Romney is an acting graduate of ACTT and her most recent theatre credits include; ‘Rose’ in Scarecrow which she won Suzy Goes Sees “Top 5 Best Supporting Actors for 2018”, other theatre credits include ‘Paulina’ in The Winters Tale Dir. Sean O’Riorden (Secret House), Pisanio' in Cymbeline Dir. Sean O’Riorden (Secret House), ‘Ros’ in Henna Night Dir. Glen Hamilton (Mercury) ‘Alice Flack’ in That Eye, The Sky Dir. David Burrowes (New Theatre), ‘Mother Superior’ in Roundheads and Peakheads Dir. Lex Marinos (Bondi Pav), ‘Octavia’ in Antony and Cleopatra Dir. Laura Heard (Secret House), ‘Molly’ in Love Song Dir. Glen Hamilton (Gamut Theatre Co). In 2018 Romney directed “Death comes for Breakfast” as part of the Sydney Short & Sweet festival where the play made it the finals. Romney was assistant director on “The Jungle” presented by Darlo Drama in 2018. Romney has been a proud member of Equity since 2015.
