DEBORAH’S BIOGRAPHY
Deborah gained a Diploma of Performance in 1995, the inaugural graduating class of the Actors College of Theatre and Television. Since then Deborah has not only worked as an actor but also as a director, teacher and producer.
Her acting credits are numerous, some of which include for TV: Redfern Now, Above the Law, All Saints and Deadly Women. For Theatre; The Art of Success (Pact Theatre), Holiday in the Sun (Sidetrack Theatre) and Baby with the Bath Water (Bondi Pavilion) which she also produced. Other producing credits include most notably, the critically acclaimed Hungry (The Stables) which she also commissioned and appeared in.
Another producing highlight was gaining sponsorship from the Breast Cancer Association for Tissue (Tap Gallery), which she also directed. Other directing credits include Televention (Newtown Theatre) Cosi and Wind in the Willows at the Haven. 4play at Slide for Mardi Gras 2011 and many productions for ACTT.
Deborah has been teaching acting since 1997 in various schools and institutions in and around Sydney. Deborah also works extensively in the corporate arena as a performer, MC, Facilitator and Event Manager.
